On Thursday, April 18th, Oak Hill Academy held its annual Career Fair. Parents and friends of the Academy came from a wide variety of career sectors such as business, medicine, and even law enforcement. Students filled out questionnaires by interviewing participants about topics such as annual salary, workplace requirements, and level of education needed. Most participants had prepared both visual and oral presentations with fun facts, knowledge about a typical “day in the life,” and overall helpful information. Christen Reeves ’20 exclaimed, “I talked to Mr. Sullivan, and he gave me some very insightful details about his ambulance/paramedic business.”

A representative from East Tennessee State University also came to share information about college admission.

Students’ finished questionnaires were given to Mr. Hill for a chance to win a door prize. Congratulations to Daniel Carter on winning a free off-campus lunch! Thank you to all the volunteers!
