Oak Hill White Team is Tournament Champion!


The Oak Hill Academy White Basketball Team traveled to Grundy, VA, last Friday and Saturday for the Mountain Mission School’s “2020 Sportsmen for Christ Tournament,” and came home Tournament Champions.

The Warriors, coached by Andy Smith, won their first two games, against Wesley Christian (KY) and Blue Ridge Christian (VA), which put them in the championship game Saturday with the host Mountain Mission School.

Game 1  vs. Wesley Christian School – Oak Hill wins 84-36:

Oak Hill Academy JVs on a roll–defeating Northwood Temple 1.26.17


The JV Warriors of Oak Hill Academy logged their third win of the week in a home game against the Northwood Temple Academy Eagles of Fayetteville, NC, Thursday.

Final score: OHA 71 – Northwood Temple 40. Top scorers for the Warriors were Markus Malleschitz – 15; Wilson Cheng – 12; and William Rutherford – 11. Keith Williams and Wilson Ramabu contibuted 7 points each. Jevon Andrew had 6.

Oak Hill Academy’s JV Team chalks up two more wins

The JV Warriors of Oak Hill Academy took two more basketball wins on the road this week, defeating Mountain Mission School at Grundy, VA, on Monday (69-59) and Eastside High School at Coeburn, VA, Wednesday (61-27).

Top scorers for the Warriors against Mountain Mission School were Keith Williams – 27; Markus Malleschitz – 17; and Jaiden Lindsay – 10.

In the game at Coeburn, Oak Hill’s top scorers were Luc Brittian with 14 and T.C. McClaurin with 6. Keith Williams, Sam Skoloff, Jevon Andrew, and William Rutherford each had 5 points; Aaron Stepanek, Markus Malleschitz, Reggie Ekong, and Jaiden Lindsay each had 4.
