OHA Principal names new Student of Distinction!

Arthurline M. ’22

OHA Principal Todd Giszack recently announced that Arthurline M. is our newest “Student of Distinction.”

Some of the comments attached to her multiple recommendations included the following: Arthurline is a hardworking, pleasant, and likable young lady.  She is always helping others in the classroom and the dorm.

Arthurline has spent time in my classes helping other students to achieve and to develop their potential.  She has a positive attitude and greets everyone with a smile and a cheery hello!  She has gone out of her way to help new students catch up and understand the work, also volunteering as a peer tutor.

I heartily recommend Arthurline for the title of “Student of Distinction.”

Arthurline is a junior from Liberia, Africa. And this is her third time being named as an OHA Student of Distinction. She was honored during the 2018-19 school year as a 9th-grader; then again last year during her sophomore year. Arthurline continues to exemplify the qualities the OHA staff look for when choosing a Student of Distinction.

Congratulations, Arthurline!

Students are regularly nominated by the faculty and staff for making notable contributions to Oak Hill Academy campus life.
