OHA’s Principal, Todd Giszack, recently announced that Derrick O. of Nairobi, Kenya, has been named the newest “Student of Distinction” for the 2020-2021 school year.
Though he arrived here at the beginning of the 2nd semester, Derrick has quickly shown himself to be a fine young man, polite in all his dealings and serious of mind.
His staff recommenders describe Derrick as a “helper,” who strives to assist his classmates in the academic building, and his dorm mates in the dormitory. He respects the values of Oak Hill Academy and does his best every day. Derrick is conscientious and detail-oriented in his approach to his studies, and has shown himself trustworthy throughout his time here.
Congratulations and thank you, Derrick!
Students are regularly nominated by the faculty and staff for making notable contributions to Oak Hill Academy campus life.
