Meet OHA’s latest “Student of Distinction”

Cocobella P. ’24

Principal Todd Giszack announced recently that Cocobella P. is Oak Hill Academy’s newest “Student of Distinction.” Cocobella is a freshman from Maryland. She is in her first year at Oak Hill.

Though she’s been here a short time, Cocobella already has distinguished herself as a positive force on the OHA campus. She was nominated for the “Student of Distinction” honor by several staff members. Some of the comments accompanying her recommendations follow.

Cocobella makes the campus of Oak Hill Academy a warmer, happier place. She is excelling academically, and gives selflessly of her time to tutor her peers. As a 9th-grader, she is earning exemplary grades–maintaining close to a 100% average in several of her classes over the first semester. Cocobella always wears a smile, and is universally positive and friendly. She is always ready to help, and never demonstrates a negative attitude. Cocobella truly deserves this honor. She has worked very hard and is incredibly helpful to other students.
