Maintaining a community-driven boarding school requires a Director of Student Affairs who understands students’ needs. That’s why we are blessed to have Mr. Aaron Butt.
Mr. Butt grew up near Charlottesville, Virginia, and received a B.A. in English from the University of Virginia. He taught English at Fork Union Military Academy for 10 years, and while teaching, earned a Masters in Educational Administration and Supervision from the University of Virginia.
Mr. Butt has been a part of the Oak Hill community for 4 years. When asked about his favorite part of working at The Hill, he said, “spending time with students and having the opportunity to watch them grow and develop into competent, capable young men and women.”
Mr. Butt and his family share a love for nature and enjoy spending time outdoors.
In his free time, Mr. Butt enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, going hiking, canoeing, and traveling.
