Head Coach Mike Rodgers Coach Rodgers enters his sixth year at the head of the girls program at Oak Hill. He is a 1987 graduate of Oak Hill and was a member of one of the first teams coached by Steve Smith at Oak Hill. He played college basketball at Fairfield University in Connecticut and is a 1991 graduate. Coach Rodgers lives on campus with his wife of 20 years, Yvonne and three of their children: Alex (17), Mikey (15) and Maxwell (14). His oldest daughter, Khelan, goes to school and resides in New Jersey. |

Brittney Bowser Sr./Co-Capt. 5’9” G Roanoke Rapids, NC Brittney is entering her second year as a Lady Warrior after a very competitive summer competing in the Garner Flames (Baxter) program. A strong guard who can play the point and shooting guard, Brittney brings an intensity and instant offense to the Lady Warriors backcourt. She is recognized by her teammates as a tough defender and will be counted on to provide veteran leadership and her scoring punch this season. Brittney is receiving attention from several Division 1 programs including Western Carolina and Longwood University. |

Alexandra Rodgers Sr./Co-Capt. 5’9” G Mouth of Wilson, VA As a third year veteran of the Lady Warriors, Alex will provide the usual mix of leadership and energy for which she has become known. A leading three-point threat this past year, she will continue to add to the potent Lady Warrior perimeter attack. She has been a member of the Garner Flames AAU program for two years under Coach Arne Morris. Alex has chosen to continue her career at Princeton University next year after considering Harvard University, Western Carolina, Western Kentucky, University of Miami and others. |

Arieal Johnson Sr. 6’4” F/C Havelock, NC Arieal is entering her third season as a main-stay of the Lady Warriors front-court. She is widely known for her athleticism which she often uses to block shots, earning her the nickname, “the fly-swatter” from the Nike Skills Academy. Already a top-100 prospect according to several sources, she is showing much improved finishing skills and has added the primary weapons of the baby hook and a rangy jump shot. She will be used this season both in the post and at the forward position and should pose match-up problems for the opposition many nights. Arieal has committed to The University of Georgia after considering several other offers. |

Orsolya Szecsi Sr. 6’3” G/F Budapest, Hungary Orsi is a second-year player for the Lady Warriors who has captured a lot of attention for her combination of guard skills and extremely good size. She is able to play a variety of positions on both ends of the floor and should be able to showcase her abilities in the Lady Warriors up-tempo style. She spent this past summer working with the Hungarian National Team and was a member of the Garner Flames AAU organization during this past spring. Although she did not make the summer circuit rounds, she has been rated solidly in many publications as a top-50 prospect. She is committed to accept a scholarship offer from Duquesne University in the competitive Atlantic 10 conference. |

Eliana Scanlon Jr. 5’8” PG/G Manhattan, NY Eliana brings a game that is well-suited to the Lady Warriors up-tempo style. A crafty point guard who sees the floor well, she is also a proficient scorer. A transfer from Christ the King in New York City, her experience against national competition should be a big benefit for the Lady Warriors. Eliana played this past summer for the well-known EXODUS program where she has attracted interest from several Division 1 schools. |

Ondrea Shaw Sr. 6’3” F/C Louisville, KY Ondrea is a second-year player at Oak Hill who has seen her stock rise dramatically over the course of the summer playing with the Louisville Legends AAU program. She is a great package of athleticism and size and she is known for her relentless play around the rim. Ondrea has scheduled visits to George Mason, Rutgers, Memphis, and ECU. Ondrea has been rated as a top-100 prospect by several publications. |

Mallory Jones Jr. 6’0” G/F Blacksburg, VA This is Mallory’s first year with the Lady Warriors after seeing action against Oak Hill as a member of Blacksburg HS where she earned Region IV Player of the Year, VHSL First-Team All-State and the Roanoke Times Sophomore of the Year honors. Mallory is an extremely versatile player with the size to play inside and the perimeter skills and range to be a guard. She has established herself as a tough-nosed competitor who goes extremely hard in practice and in the weight room. She is currently drawing interest from West Virginia, Vanderbilt, VA Tech and Texas Tech after a tremendous summer playing for the National Champs, Team Virginia AAU program out of Roanoke. |

Kiana Trice-Hill Jr. 6’2” F/C Raleigh, NC Kiana was an All-Eastern Regional performer at Raleigh’s Southeast HS last year where she earned the “Difference Maker” award as a sophomore. A Sporting News honorable mention All-American, she provides a strong, physical presence for the Lady Warrior front line. Kiana has great size and agility and has an impressive array of post moves. Kiana will be counted in to provide toughness inside and her athleticism also makes her an outside threat along the baseline. She has established her place among her teammates with “go hard” attitude. Kiana enjoyed a very competitive and successful summer with the Boo Williams’ Elite squad and she has also played with the Garner Flames organization. |

Hana Haden Sr. 5’4” PG Springfield, MO Hana is a newcomer to the Oak Hill roster but has already established herself within the team. She is a point guard that moves the ball and gets her teammates involved. A third team All-State player last year at Kickapoo HS in Springfield, Missouri she will be counted on to run the up-tempo Oak Hill offense this year. She is coming off a great summer with the Sho-Me Heat AAU program. |

Clevy M. Nelson-Royster Jr. 5’7” G Hartford, CT Clevy joins the Lady Warriors this year after a summer spent playing for Richmond, Virginia area AAU teams, the VA Storm and VA Fastbreak. Clevy will provide depth in the Oak Hill backcourt and has established herself with her teammates as a player who goes very hard in practice. Clevy is a quick guard who sees the floor well and is just as likely to find an open teammate as she is to get off a good shot. |

Shaniqua Reese Jr. 5’10” G/F Brooklyn, NY Shaniqua joins the team this year after playing for Thomas Jefferson HS in New York. She is described by the coaching staff as an explosive athlete who can get to the rim at will. Shaniqua should excel in the Lady Warriors up-tempo style and has already made fans of her teammates with her ball-handling ability. She plays in the same AAU program, EXODUS, as her teammate Eliana. Shaniqua has attracted the attention of several Division 1 programs and is looking to use the Oak Hill experience to prepare for college. |

Assistant Coach Ewa Bartkowiak “Coach B” begins her second season as the Lady Warriors assistant. She is a 2004 graduate of Oak Hill and played four seasons of basketball at Bluefield College in Virginia. Upon graduating, she returned to Oak Hill to serve as resident manager and assistant coach. Originally from Poland, Ewa earned her degree in Exercise and Sports Science with a minor in Education in 2008. Ewa is recently married and lives with her husband, Anthony Reedy, in Wytheville, Virginia. |

Paloma Videla Sr. Barcelona, Spain Paloma is a second year student at Oak Hill Academy and joins this year’s team as manager/video coordinator. |

Joe Burgarino Sr. Milwaukee, WI Joe is a second year student at Oak Hill and joins the Lady Warriors as a first year manager. Joe’s duties include set up for practice, clock maintenance, assisting in drills as well as in-game bench assistance. |
