My brother, Richard "Bubba" Western attended Oak Hill Academy from 1960-1963. He passed away Dec. 14, 2006. He loved Oak Hill and especially all the wonderful friends he made during those years. He used to tell us stories about his years there! All of you were in his heart, he really loved you. He was such a wonderful brother.

Tina Western - I learned of your Dad's death only a couple of weeks ago but I wanted you to know that he was certainly loved by many of his fellow classmates, myself included. I spoke with him back in 2002 but lost touch soon after. He was a great guy in many ways - always smiling, good natured, kind words. You have a lot to be proud of to have call him "Dad"

I would like to write to the classes of 1960-63. My dad Richard "Bubba" Western attended Oak Hill during those years and made alot of friends & wonderful memories, which I was privilaged to always have an ear wide open when he talked about his time on "The Hill".
My dad passed away Dec.14, 2006, he suffered for a few years with his illness and I have been taking care of him the last 3 years. He was a WONDERFUL dad, PROUD grandpa and an all around great guy! Anyone with special memories or funny stories, I would love to hear about them. He was proud of the friends he made and the time spent at Oak Hill.
