The Academy is also a member of the National Association of Independent Schools, The Southern Association of Independent Schools, The Association of Boarding Schools, and The Small Boarding School Association, and is recognized by the Virginia Council for Private Education.
Oak Hill Academy is approved by the Virginia Department of Education and by the United States government for the teaching of foreign students.
